Big Rock Brewing Workshop At The Heritage Park
If your a big fan of craft beer this is a chance to learn – and participate – in the brewing process from start to finish, while sample different types of Big Rock beer. Then, come back eight weeks later to pick up a bottle of the beer you’ve created. Workshops are held once a month through to December.

Community Fall Fair At The Stampede Park
Start off the morning with a pumpkin spice pancake breakfast. Enjoy music and lively entertainment around the grounds. Be sure to check out the market featuring local produce and handmade goods. Autumn Pumpkin Festival At The Calgary Corn Maze
The Calgary Corn Maze is truly a unique and memorable place to indulge in all fall fun activities. This Autumn Festival is jam pack with fun for all ages with activities including autumn photo opportunities, pumpkin picking, pony rides, pig races, crafts station, face painting, magic show and more. Don’t forget to pick up a mini ornamental pumpkin for each kid. Plus enjoy regular maze attractions corn mazes, petting farm, playground activities, ropes course, train rides, tractor-pulled rides, mini golf, and zip lines.

There is nothing better than plucking a firm apple right off the tree and sinking your teeth into it. Fall is a perfect time to harvest these fruits while there firm, crisp, juicy and ready to eat. And, not only are they a healthy choice of snack, you can add them into a salad, make jam and apple pie to name just a few. There are many places you can pick apples, from a local farm, a friend’s backyard, and even communities around the city.
